We take in mares for foaling.  We want the mares here at least a month before the foal is due.  We monitor the mare closely.  Usually I sleep in the barn. After the foal is born, it becomes another foal in the program with daily handling, leading, clipping, trailer training, etc

 

We take in young horses to be started under saddle by our professional team.  Our dressage trainer, Kim Bjornstad Thavarajah, rides them giving them the basics of steering, brakes and balance.  To make certain she is on the right track, she rides under the knowledgeable eye of Leslie Webb on a regular basis.  This has proven to be a winning team for starting youngsters. 

 

We can also teach you to handle your foal correctly and to show in hand. 

 

When possible, we host an ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection.

 

 

We are located north off of Stockdale Highway between Highways I5 and 99.  We are on the west side of Bakersfield.
